Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress who is best recognized for her roles in the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Beta Saajan. The actress began her career in the her twenties. Her role as Anil Kapoor in Tezaab made her extremely well-known. Her subsequent appearance on screen was Dil alongside Aamir. In Mumbai her home, she grew up by middle class parents. At a very young age, she started to take dance lessons. At the age of 16 she started acting, and was a victim for a few years due to the fact that her films at first were unsuccessful. She found fame and became one of India's top film actresses. Following her wedding ceremony, she took a brief time off from her acting career before returning. Recently, she played a major part as a character in Gulaab Gang. The film was about struggles faced by women across India. Dixit has received 15 Filmfare Awards nominations, of which she took home eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award awarded to civilians in India is bestowed to Dixit. Her fame is based on her work in the field of social service as well.
